The Mexican street tacos and chiles relleno are excellent. Order the $20 margarita with top shelf tequila as well. You won't regret it! Que sabroso!!

So we have been coming to this place over the years. They have a very large selection of Mexican cuisine. It has changed management several times, although the food has kept the high standards no matter who is running it. With only three restaurants that serve Fort Madison, you have to be doing something right. The Food: hot and fresh ingredients and they know how to keep you coming back for more. While we have been here for years, I still try new items, with my favorites. The Chile Releano is my personal favorites, anything with their Rojas (red) sauce is great with their refried beans and rice. They have tortas (a bunch with a crispy exterior and soft center. It's excellent. The service is where they sometimes don't have enough of. They do their best though. The Atmosphere: traditional hand-painted murals and vibrant colors give you that authentic feeling.

6/4/2024 My meal was very flavorful and meat was seasoned perfectly. Wonderful fast service. Clean cool restaurant. There are weekly specials and is close walking distance from hotel. Delicious!

I had some doubts about this place after reading the reviews but I found the fajitas with shrimp to be excellent. So very tasty and a good portion too. The prices were reasonable for sure. The service was very good and friendly. I won’t hesitate to come back for more.

The best Mexican restaurant in SE Iowa. The staff is always quick and friendly. Their food has always been fresh and tasty. Their salsa is wonderful! Much better than spicy tomato purrie that many restaurants use. The fish tacos are fabulous! I have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed.
